Seasoning combinations
These are often sold as pre-mixed spices/seasoning mixes, but can be prepared in home from basic herbs & spices, varying the quantities to suit your taste-buds.
Chinese Seasoning
Usage: Sprinkle over prawns, beef, or chicken and miced stir-fry vergetables towards the end of cooking.
Ingredients: Sugar, Salt, Onion granules, Garlic Granules (12%), Ground Star Anise (10%), Ground Ginger (5%), Ground Fennel Seed, Ground Cinnamon (Cassia) (4%), Black Pepper (3%), Ground Cloves. (The five classic spices for the asian taste are in italics).
Serving guide: 1 tablespoon = 2 servings.

BBQ American Seasoning
Usage: Mix with oil and use as a marinade on meat.
Ingredients: Salt, Dried Onion (21%), Paprika, Sugar, Coriander Seeds, Smoked Paprika (5%), Dried Garlic, Mustard Flour, Dried Parsley (2.5%), Cayenne Pepper, Tomato Powder, Acid: Citric acid, Anti-caking agent: Silicon Dioxide, Dried Basil leaf, Flavouring.
Serving guide: 4 grams = 1 teaspoon = 1 servings.
